Description
This test enables assessors to identify if a conductor applicant has sufficient decision making skills and visual accuracy to sell customers the right tickets and check ticket validity in real time.
The test is a work sample that has been designed specifically for the conductor role. The test is in two parts and in both parts candidates are required to use information provided to make decisions on the appropriateness of particular tickets.
- Part 1 of the test assesses candidates on their ability to sell the correct tickets to customers, taking into account destinations, peak/off peak hours, and a range of discounts which may or may not be available.
- Part 2 of the test assesses candidates on their ability to accurately check the validity of a range of tickets.
