Description
This test assesses the applicant's ability to undertake checks on the condition of a bus and from the checks decide whether the bus can go into service or not. Bus drivers often have to undertake important safety checks prior to taking a bus out and are required to do these accurately and efficiently. They may also have to complete checklists following an incident or accident.
Applicants are presented with images of 40 buses that must be checked for seven safety features. They complete a checklist to indicate whether each feature is on the bus and make a decision about whether the bus can go into service using rules based around essential and non-essential features.
