Training

History The OPC provides in-house training in a number of areas. In addition we offer semi-open courses where we act as co-ordinators for a number of organisations who wish to train one or two people but do not have funding for a full in-house course.

Our training courses include:

  • Level A Occupational Testing

  • Job Analysis/Competency Profiling

  • Assessor Training (including assessment centre management)
  • Customer Service/Call Centre Training
  • Interview Training

Over the las year the OPC has seen a massive growth in clients asking us to run our most popular training programmes for them in-house.  Running courses in-house allows the OPC to tailor and adapt the courses to meet the particular needs of each client; improving the effectiveness of the programme and increasing delegates' buy-in.  In addition, they can run at a time and place convenient to our clients.  Our most popular courses include:

  • Test Administration - training delegates in how to administer and score a range of psychological tests.
  • Structured interviewing - this remains one of the OPC's more popular courses and trains assessors and line managers to interview effectively and successfully.
  • Recruitment skills for applicants - this programme is designed to help candidates put together a winning application form and to do their best at interviews.
  • Level A - this nationally recognised qualification trains delegates in how to select, administer, score, interpret and give feedback on a range of ability tests from different test publishers including OPC Assessment, SHL, ASE and OPP.
